# Uploading Tokens Using the Inventory App

Choose among Token2 CSV Operations when already signed in to the Inventory App: Import Only, Import & Assign, or Import, Assign & Activate.

Once logged onto the Token2 Inventory App, uploading Tokens is as simple as selecting the CSV Operations button.

There are 3 options available in the CSV Operations.

- Import Only – this is useful to uploading the tokens to Azure without assigning to a user or activating. The source favours this option when tokens are not being deployed to users in the near future; the [Import Only reference](import-only.md) explains its limitations.
- Import & Assign – use this if you want to assign tokens to users but may not be handing out the tokens for several months. See below
- Import, Assign & Activate – use this if you are assigning tokens to users AND handing them to users immediately. It is only recommended to use Auto Activation in this scenario, otherwise it may introduce potential time drift issues, making management more complex.
