# Discover roles assigned by PIM Group

Inspect eligible and active role assignments for a PIM group, using CCM: Role - Microsoft Application Administrator as the worked example.

**SCENARIO:** Discover what roles are activated by "CCM: Role - Microsoft Application Administrator"

1.  Go to [Groups -\> All Groups](https://entra.microsoft.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/GroupsManagementMenuBlade/menuId/AllGroups) in Entra
2.  Search for

*CCM: Role - Microsoft Application Administrator*

1.  From the results click the [group name](https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/GroupDetailsMenuBlade/~/Overview/groupId/4d4b888e-2c89-49a0-a655-e3b5636ed920/menuId/)
2.  Click **Assigned roles**

1.  Click the "**Eligible assignments**" and "**Active assignments**" to see what roles are in those categories. See **Eligible** and **Active** assignment screenshots below.

**Note:** To find out if this group is included as a member of another group, you will be able to find out by checking "[Group Memberships](https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/GroupDetailsMenuBlade/~/GroupMemberships/groupId/4d4b888e-2c89-49a0-a655-e3b5636ed920/menuId/)".
