# Manage Intune devices — reference notes

Remove a selected Windows user profile through System Properties, using the recorded administrator PowerShell entry point and User Profiles controls.

## Remove a user profile from an Intune device {#source-11b798915e535254}

Open Powershell As Administrator

Run sysdm.cpl

This will open system properties

1.  Click the Advanced Tab
2.  Under "User Profiles" click the "Settings..." Button
3.  Click on the profile you wish to remove
4.  Click on the Delete button
5.  Wait for it... The profile will remove itself from the User Profiles list when the deletion is complete.
