As an alternative to Slipstreaming Windows Installation Media manually and then imaging with USB memory sticks, there are automated tools for both the windows installation media updating and for the imaging process.

Using DeployR enables reimaging windows devices via PXE network boot, dynamically installing all required drivers for the specific model, registering the device with Autopilot v1 or v2, optionally installing any .intunewin applications, prior to OOBE and autopilot provisioning.

Combined with WimWizard, which automates the installation of all Microsoft Updates to the offline install.wim file, it ensures that every reimaged device is fully updated with little ongoing effort.
