It is always a good idea to force the use of the local Microsoft Connected Cache for any deployment.

1. Open your task sequence and enter Edit mode.
2. Mouse over the Full OS - Audit Mode group and select the + plus icon to add a new step to the group.
3. Select Run Command line from the popout.
4. Select the new Run Command line step and on the properties tab change the name to "Deploy Microsoft Connected Cache Host Registry"
5. Add the following to the Command Line field. This should be identical for all schools. reg.exe add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeliveryOptimization" /v DOCacheHost /t REG_SZ /d docache.ccmschools.edu.au
6. Click Save all changes.
7. Repeat the process to add another command line step
8. Select the new Run Command line step and on the properties tab change the name to "Deploy Microsoft Connected Cache Host Source Registry"
9. Add the following to the Command Line field. This should be identical for all schools. reg.exe add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeliveryOptimization" /v DOCacheHostSource /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
10. Click Save All Changes
11. Move both of these new steps just BELOW the Configure new OS step in the Full OS - Audit Mode group. This ensures that any time the OS reaches out to the internet for Microsoft stuff it will use the MCC.
