Fastvue can be integrated with YouTube to return the video title, category, channel and thumbnail image of each video that has been viewed.
To enable YouTube integration you require a Google API key. If you already have a Google Cloud Enterprise account you can create your own API key using the FastVue instructions Configuring YouTube integration to retrieve video titles, categories and channels.
Alternatively, send your schools Public IPs to CCM IT and they will create an API key for your college.
Once you have the API key you can configure YouTube integration in FastVue in Settings>YouTube
- Tick the Enable YouTube Integration tick box.
- Enter the API key.
- Save and Test
